On April 17, 2017 at 3:24 a.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The vehicle operator, a 20 year old male out of Bergenfield, was subsequently arrested after it was determined that his driving privileges were suspended. He was released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On April 18, 2017 at 8:49 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Johnson stopped a vehicle that was tailgating another vehicle on the roadway. The vehicle operator, a 20 year old female out of Clifton, was subsequently arrested after it was determined that her driving privileges were suspended. She was released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On April 20, 2017 at 4:49 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle that was speeding and being operated in an erratic manner. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 35 year old female vehicle operator out of Totowa for driving while intoxicated. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On April 21, 2017 at 2:06 a.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle after a check on his mobile data terminal revealed that the registration was expired. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the vehicle operator for possession of marijuana. The vehicle operator, an 18 year old female out of Brewster, NY, was processes and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On April 21, 2017 at 11:35 a.m., Ptl. Christopher Heck stopped a vehicle for an observed violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 35 year old male passenger out of East Orange for possession of marijuana. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On April 21, 2017 at 5:03 p.m., Ptl. Kyle Vergano stopped a vehicle after observing the operator using a cell phone while driving. The vehicle operator, a 28 year old male out of Deerfield Beach, FL, was subsequently arrested after it was determined that his driving privileges were suspended. He was released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

All persons charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
