June 12, 2017- June 18, 2017

On June 13, 2017 at 2:32 p.m., Ptl. Justin Westra stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 36 year old male operator out of Montclair for driving with a suspended license.  He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 13, 2017 at 5:38 p.m., Ptl. Dominick Buscio investigated a motor vehicle crash. It was determined that the 44 year old female operator out of Rutherford was driving with a suspended license.  She was arrested, processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 14, 2017 at 12:02 a.m., Ptl. Christopher Lynch stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 18 year old male operator out of Newark for driving with a suspended license.  He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 14, 2017 at 4:20 p.m., Ptl. Jason Rivers stopped a vehicle after observing the operator using a cell phone while driving. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 32 year old male operator out of Newark for driving with a suspended license.  He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 14, 2017 at 5:25 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Ligas stopped a vehicle after observing that the operator was not wearing a seatbelt. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 57 year old male operator out of Pennsylvania for driving with a suspended license.  He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 14, 2017 at 11:46 p.m., Ptl. Kyle Vergano stopped a vehicle for an observed violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 30 year old male operator out of Budd Lake for driving with a suspended license and suspended registration.  He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 15, 2017 at 12:10 a.m., Ptl. Joseph Ligas investigated a motor vehicle crash on Cedar Street. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of the 45 year old male operator out of Clifton for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 16, 2017 at 8:41 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Johnson stopped a vehicle for an observed violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 29 year old male operator out of Lake Hiawatha for possession of CDS (marijuana). He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 16, 2017 at 8:08 p.m., Ptl. Dominick Buscio stopped a vehicle for an observed violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 33 year old male passenger out of East Orange for possession of CDS (marijuana). He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 17, 2017 at 4:58 p.m., Ptl. Michael Passafiume stopped a vehicle travelling at an excessive speed along the roadway. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the vehicle operator for driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

 On June 18, 2017 at 12:22 p.m., Ptl. Christopher Heck stopped a vehicle after observing the operator not wearing a seatbelt. The operator, a 20 year old male out of Cedar Grove, was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a false government document (NY driver’s license). He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 36 year old male driver from Paterson for driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
