On June 7, 2017 at 4:16 a.m., Ptl. Kyle Vergano stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 38 year old male operator out of Somerville for driving with a suspended license.  He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On June 7, 2017 at 6:43 p.m., Ptl. Dominick Buscio stopped a vehicle after a random plate check on his MDT revealed that the operator had a suspended driver’s license. The 33 year old male out of East Orange was arrested, processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On June 7, 2017 at 6:43 p.m., Ptl. Michael Passafiume stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was later determined that the 27 year old female out of Hoboken was operating a vehicle with a suspended license. She was arrested and released with a summons to appear in municipal.

On June 7, 2017 at 7:35 p.m., Ptl. Christopher Lynch stopped a vehicle after observing the operator using a cell phone while driving. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a 27 year old female passenger out of Cedar Grove for possession of CDS (marijuana). She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On June 8, 2017 at 11:01 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Johnson stopped a vehicle for an observed traffic violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 35 year old male operator out of Little Falls for possession of CDS (marijuana). He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On June 9, 2017 at 2:15 a.m., Sgt. Jose Rodriguez stopped a vehicle for an observed violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of two passengers for possession of CDS (marijuana, LSD). Both were processed and released with summonses to appear in municipal court.  

On June 9, 2017 at 8:04 p.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle for an observed violation. It was later determined that the 22 year old female out of Bloomfield was operating a vehicle with a suspended license. She was arrested and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On June 10, 2017 at 12:45 a.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella checked on a disabled vehicle on Pompton Avenue and discovered CDS (cocaine, marijuana). Both occupants, a 28 year old male out of East Orange and a 29 year old female out of Montclair, were placed under arrest.  They were processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On June 10, 2017 at 10:17 p.m., patrol officers responded to the CVS at 387 Pompton Avenue for a reported shoplifting. Employees provided a description of the actors and the vehicle in which they fled the scene. Officers stopped the vehicle and the actors a short time later. A 29 year old female out Hillside was subsequently arrested. A 20 year old male out of Newark fled on foot from the vehicle. He was never located and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The female actor was taken into custody for shoplifting. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On May 14, 2018 at 5:57 p.m., Ptl. Michael Passafiume stopped a vehicle without a front license plate and tinted windows. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 36 year old male driver from Paterson for driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
