 November 13, 2017 – November 19, 2017

On November 13, 2017 at 1:13 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle for a moving violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 18 year old female operator from Belleville for possession of marijuana. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 13, 2017 at 5:32 a.m., officers responded to a Sweetwood Drive address for a disturbance. A 27 year old male from Cedar Grove was subsequently placed under arrest for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 16, 2017 at 1:11 a.m., Ptl. Joseph Ligas stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 27 year old driver from South Carolina for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 16, 2017 at 8:10 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Johnson stopped a vehicle for failing to signal a lane change. The driver, a 34 year old male from Newark, was arrested after it was determined that his driving privileges were suspended. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 17, 2017 at 11:48 p.m., Ptl. Dominick Buscio stopped and vehicle that was delaying traffic on Pompton Avenue. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of two of the occupants. The 20 year old driver from Bayonne and an 18 year old passenger from Weehawken were placed under arrest for possession of marijuana. The passenger was also charged with possession of a fraudulent driver’s license. Both were processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 18, 2017 at 11:32 a.m., Ptl. Christopher Heck stopped a vehicle after a random license plate check on his MDT revealed that the operator had a suspended driver’s license. The 40 year old female from Union was arrested processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 19, 2017 at 6:04 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella was flagged down by a motorist looking for directions. The vehicle operator, a 25 year old male from Irvington, was subsequently arrested for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 36 year old male driver from Paterson for driving with a suspended license.
