CEDAR GROVE, NJ - The Cedar Grove Splash summer swim team will be sponsoring its annual Swimathon on July 6 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the town pool, at the intersection of Little Falls Road and Slattery Drive in Cedar Grove.

A yearly tradition which assists a local family in need, the proceeds from the 2015 Swimathon will benefit the Nesto family of Cedar Grove. Nick and Dawn Nesto have been active members of the CG swim team parent leadership committee, and their daughters Summer and Madison have been swimming on the team for several years.

The public may donate to the Nesto family by attending the Swimathon, or by sending a check to the Cedar Grove Swim Team c/o Joyce San Roman, 19 Lakewood Ave., Cedar Grove NJ 07009. Donations will be collected throughout the month of July and the final total will be presented to the Nesto family at the swim team's end of season party on July 30.
