Montclair, NJ– The North Essex Chamber of Commerce (NECC) held a ceremonious ribbon cutting on Thursday May 25 to mark the official grand opening of Celestina Ando Photography. Located on the second level of 7th Park Street, the studio overlooks the busy streets of Montclair.

Celestina Ando was previously an accountant before leaving her job to pursue her longtime hobby of photography. Before opening a studio in Montclair, Ando ran a photography studio out of her home in Clifton, NJ. “I love photographing. I do business portraits, family portraits, maternity and so on. But what I enjoy most is when everyday women come in and they get pampered with a professional makeover and they get to experience a magazine style portrait session.” Ando continued, “I love creating some empowering experiences for women. Whether they enjoy it on their own or with their loved ones or family.”

Ando’s work has been seen in, Downtown Magazine NYC, The Huffington Post, Skyhorse Publishing and was featured in The Daily Voice. She explained that Montclair gives her the opportunity to become involved in a larger community. According to Ando, “As an entrepreneur, it can get a bit lonely at times but having a great network like the North Essex Chamber of Commerce makes all the difference.”
