CEDAR GROVE, NJ - The 10th annual "Lemon-Aid Stand" to benefit the Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad will be held Sunday, August 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. outside of Foodtown, located at 597 Pompton Ave. In exchange for a donation, participants will receive a cup of lemonade. All proceeds will be delivered directly to CGARS immediately after the fundraiser. Over $12,000 has been raised and donated to the squad during the past nine events. Organizers hope to make the 10-year grand total $15,000 after the August event. All advance donations can be mailed to 19 Lakewood Ave., Cedar Grove. New Jersey Governor Phillip D. Murphy signed Executive Order No.1 on Monday ordering the flag of the United States of America and the Flag of the State of New Jersey to be flown at half-staff to recognize and mourn the passing of the victims in Parkland, Florida.
