VERONA, NJ – The Cedar Grove Destiny 8U softball team won its third tournament on Saturday.

CG Destiny competed in Verona’s Schools Out Tournament beating Little Ferry 13-2 and Verona 14-5.  Destiny played Verona in the championship winning 11-0.

On May 4, 2018 at 2:58 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for not having an inspection decal and an obstructed windshield. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 28 year old male operator from Paterson for driving with a suspended license and having a suspended registration. His vehicle was impounded and he was released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
