The Fine Grind will host an exciting book reading and signing for children on Sunday, November 19, from 1-3pm with local authors Alfonso and Michelle Grambone. Their book is a story of friendship and courage for kids ages 5 and up. Books will be for sale at the event and there will be coloring activities!

About the book:

A lost pup is in need of a loving new home. In a world where friendship is not bounded a group of five young crusaders will embark on a journey to solve an ongoing problem in their neighborhood that will lead them deep into the outer depths of the treacherous grove, where they end up getting much, much more than they bargain for. Now only these five champions are brave enough to accept the challenge that awaits them. They must come together and put their unique gifts together and put this mystery to rest while also expanding their circle of friends.

About the Authors:

Alfonso Grambone and his wife Michelle combined his passion for drawing with her love of writing to create a story inspired by childhood memories and man’s best friend.  Al studied graphic design at Joe Kubert School of Art in Dover, NJ and works as a paraprofessional and an at home therapist.  Michelle received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Rider University and has chosen a career in retail.  Their biggest influence for writing Grove Dogs came from their bulldog Harley, who joined the Grambone family in 2011.  Harley was later joined by a German Shepard the couple adopted in 2016.
