BAYONNE, NJ – Verona continued its winning streak, defeating Marist 45-0 in Bayonne on Saturday.

Verona took control from the start.  Quarterback Zack Zaccone found Mark Riggio twice, ran for a 19-yard touchdown himself and completed a 25-yard pass to Matt Zaccone all in the first quarter, putting Verona up 28-0.

The Hillbillies continued the charge in the second quarter with 46-yard run from Sean Crawford, a 35-yard field goal from Colin Kiernan and a toss from Nick DeVivo to Zach, Skrivanic for a touchdown, making the score 45-0.

The Hillbillies are back in action on Saturday in Glen Ridge at 1 p.m.
