NEWARK, NJ - Elyse Fearon delivered 20 points and eight rebounds to lead Cedar Grove from behind for a 48-46 girls basketball victory over Arts on the road Tuesday.

Arts outscored the Panthers, 30-21, in the first half.  Cedar Grove battled in the third period and entered the fourth trailing Arts, 38-31. A 17-8 run gave the Panthers the edge in the fourth and ultimately the victory.  

Alyssa Lever had 13 points and five rebounds in the winning effort.

The win improves the Panthers to 11-5 for the season.  They enter the Essex County Tournament as the No. 12 seed.  They will take on the winner of the No. 24 Central vs. No. 21 Glen Ridge game.
