CEDAR GROVE, NJ - Cedar Grove girls soccer won two in a row this week, handily defeating Technology and Irvington, and hopes to make it a clean sweep when they take on Verona on Friday.

On Wednesday, Jaime Dente scored three goals to help the Panthers shut out Irvington 8-0 on the road. Lindsay Sickinger grabbed a goal and two assists in the win, while Noelle Nicosia tallied a goal and an assist.  Maggie Brancato, Bella Rivera and Gabriella Silletti also found the back of the net for the Panthers and Kasey Dente added an assist.

Cedar Grove hosted Technology on Tuesday where Dente also scored three goals to lead Cedar Grove to a 9-1 victory.  Sickinger tallied a goal and two assists in the win, while Caroline Fielding and Nicosia tacked on two goals each.  Rivera also found the back of the net for the Panthers.

The win improved Cedar Grove to 4-2 for the season.  They travel to Verona on Friday at 4 p.m.
