Hearts ‘n Hands Mission Announces Barbeque and Jazz Fundraiser

Hearts ‘n Hands Mission announces its Barbeque and Jazz fundraiser on Sept. 23. Music will be provided by Nathan Eklund and friends, with dinner catered by Bourbon BBQ of Wyckoff.

Heart ‘n Hands Mission is a 100% volunteer outreach program of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, in Wayne, serving the needs of the homeless and working poor in northeast New Jersey. The mission is a mobile program delivering donated clothing and personal care items to 1,000 individuals and family members each month at food pantries and shelters.

Funds raised at this event will support our Care Program, which provides necessities for our homeless friends, our Fall Blessing Bag program, and will help defray the costs of gas and maintenance for our traveling van.

The silent auction will include: a week on the Outerbanks, a round of golf for four at the North Jersey Country Club, wine, craft beers, BBQ themes and more.

The event will be held at the St. Timothy Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall at 294 Valley Road in Wayne. Tickets are $35 per adult and children 13 and over, and $10 for 12 and under.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the silent auction, and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
