LITTLE FALLS, NJ – Passaic Valley-Cedar Grove won two in a row this weekend, first defeating Bayonne 6-2 on Friday and then besting Fair Lawn 7-2 on Saturday.

It was a true team effort at Korpi Arena in Bayonne on Friday night, when six different players found the back of the net for the Hornets.  Joe Kubu, Dan Lapinski, Alex LoPresti, Nick LoPresti, Shane McGuire and Jack Prospero all scored for Passaic Valley, while Noah Vazquez had 28 saves in goal.

Passaic Valley-Cedar Grove took charge early again at Floyd Arena in Little Falls on Saturday, leading 4-0 at the end of the first period.  Alex LoPresti had two goals and four assists for the Hornets.  Nick LoPresti added two goals and Ryan Humes, Kubu and Lapinski each found the back of the net.  Vazquez had 12 saves for Passaic Valley- Cedar Grove. 

Passaic Valley- Cedar Grove will take on Wayne Valley on Friday at 8 p.m. at Floyd Hall in the first round of the Passaic County Tournament.
