WEST ORANGE, NJ — The No. 1 seeded Verona-Glen Ridge ice hockey team shut out two-time defending champion and No. 4 Millburn, 3-0, in the semifinals of the Kelly Cup playoffs on Monday at Codey Arena.  

Aidan Brennan, Rowan Brennan and Noah Martinez each notched a goal, while Chandler Otterbein delivered an assist.  Goalie Chris Kostas made 39 saves to deliver the shutout. 

Verona-Glen Ridge improves to 15-8 for the season and will face No. 2 Cranford in the final on Friday at 6 p.m. at Codey Arena.

Verona-Glen Ridge has defeated Cranford twice so far this season with scores of 5-2 and 8-0.
