Editor,

I would to express my support for the election of Joe Cicala to the Cedar Grove Town Council. I have known Joe for several years and he is an incredible asset to Cedar Grove.

Joe has a proven track record of being a strong leader and this has been illustrated time and time again during his tenure on the Cedar Grove Board of Education. Joe spent six years on the board while serving the last three as President. He has helped us through some tumultuous times with the discovery of asbestos in our schools. Together with the board and administration, Joe worked tirelessly to develop a plan that kept the interest of Cedar Grove families top of mind. They were successful in coming up a solution that allowed our students to begin school on time and in a safe environment.

Another trait that Joe constantly exhibits is volunteerism. Whenever you need another set of hands, you can depend on Joe. He is out in the community doing more than his fair share for our children and the community. It doesn’t matter if it’s too hot, too cold or too wet, Joe will be there helping.

On November 8th , please join me in supporting Joe. We need his leadership on our town Council!

Respectfully,

Kevin P.D. Brown
