To the Editor:
I am writing to express my support for Kerry Peterson’s candidacy for Cedar Grove Town Council.
I met Kerry in 2006 at North End School when our daughters entered kindergarten together. I was immediately drawn to her approachable nature and helpful attitude. Our relationship grew through our volunteer efforts where we bonded while serving hot lunches and ice cream to our girls and their classmates. I was quick to recognize that Kerry was someone who could be relied on, no matter the task at hand. Kerry was consistently eager to pitch in and worked tirelessly for the benefit of our community.
Kerry continued to be a steady presence throughout the years. She actively participated in school functions, serving multiple times as class mother, and energetically supported the FSA. Kerry generously gave of her time and chaired numerous events at North End, including the Halloween Trick-or-Trunk, Teacher Appreciation Day and the comedy night beefsteak.
I have witnessed firsthand Kerry’s strong work ethic and abiding commitment to this town. I firmly believe that Kerry will do what is required to navigate Cedar Grove’s growth sustainability. I am very much looking forward to having Kerry’s positive energy and can-do attitude work for us as she serves as Cedar Grove Town Councilwoman. Please join me in voting for Kerry on May 9th!
