ROSELAND, NJ — Running 4 Answers, a race against Alzheimer's is hosting its seventh annual event on Saturday, April 30 in Roseland. A USATF-sanctioned 5K race and two-mile fun run/fitness walk, this event raises money for Alzheimer's research.

To date, Running 4 Answers has donated $205,000 to Cure Alzheimer's Fund. Started by two Roseland residents, Carolyn Mastrangelo and Barbara Geiger, the event was created because Mastrangelo, whose mother passed away in the fall after suffering 17 years with this disease, could not find a road race that raised money for Alzheimer's research.

"We started this race with three things in mind, to raise money for research, to raise awareness of Alzheimer's and to create a fun community event," said Mastrangelo.
