CEDAR GROVE, NJ - Cedar Grove police took six juveniles into custody in two separate incidents last week for possession of marijuana.
The first incident was on Aug. 21 at approximately 9 p.m. when Ptl. Michael Passafiume investigated a group of individuals standing in the roadway on Crestmont Road. The investigation resulted with three juveniles taken into custody for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The incident was turned over to the department’s juvenile officer.
On the afternoon of Aug. 22, Ptl. Michael Grasso investigated the odor of burnt marijuana coming from a group of approximately 20 individuals in the area of Devil’s Hole. The investigation resulted with three male juveniles taken into custody for possession of marijuana. The matter was turned over to the juvenile officer.
