Kerry Peterson for Cedar Grove Town Council

I am writing in support of Kerry Peterson for Cedar Grove Town Council.  I have been fortunate to know Kerry for several years -- meeting up for the first time on the softball field as we watched our daughters play.

When the Cedar Grove Junior Baseball & Softball league was looking for someone to chair the critical Sponsorship Committee, I watched Kerry step up to the plate.  She was given a folder and told how things had been done.  Kerry had some different ideas on how to increase sponsorship -- she shared her ideas, implemented them and the end result was a nice increase in sponsorship for the league that year.

On the softball side, Kerry was inspired to create a Big sister/Little sister program.  She matched up older more experienced players with girls who were just starting the sport.  She wanted the older players to inspire and support the younger players and vice versa -- it worked.

When  her daughters got involved in the lacrosse program she jumped in to help there as well.  She had a great idea for a pep rally to support the inaugural varsity season for CGHS and unify the high school and youth lacrosse programs.  That pep rally was March 24 and it was an amazing event.

My point is, Kerry is not just an “ideas” person -- she has the initiative to make things happen and take those ideas to successful fruition.

With her passion for health and wellness and her dedication to Cedar Grove,  I know that Kerry will be an asset to both our town council and our community.

Please vote for Kerry Peterson on May 9.
