Letter of Support for Robbie Vargo

My husband and I have lived in Cedar Grove since, October of 1978.  We raised our two daughters here and are now retired.  In all the years that we have been here, we have never publicly endorsed any candidate for election.  But that is about to change.  We believe our neighbor and friend Robbie Vargo possesses the honesty, talent and commitment to guide our township as a member of the Cedar Grove Town Council, so we are happy to wholeheartedly endorse Robbie Vargo for this position.

We have known Robbie for nearly 10 years.   In that time, we have had the opportunity to see Robbie’s passion for Cedar Grove, not only through his involvement in the Zoning Board and Downtown Advisory Committee, but also in the candid conversations that we have on a regular basis.  He truly loves our community, has a passion for everything Cedar Grove, and has been putting our community first for so many years.  He genuinely cares about everything that impacts our community, ranging from improving our senior services to preserving open space, and everything in between.

Because of that, we want to tell you about the Robbie that we know, the Robbie that we see every day.   Over the years, we have learned and experienced so many different qualities that Robbie has to offer – his drive, passion, commitment, honesty, integrity, etc. However, being his neighbor and friend, there is one quality that really stands out to us.  He is kind, caring, and compassionate, and will go out of his way to help in any way that he can.  Since the day he moved in, he has always helped us carrying packages, bringing our groceries into the house when he sees us, and even puts out our deck furniture every year.  He is constantly thinking of others.

In addition, Robbie is passionate about everything that he undertakes.  He works tirelessly each Autumn to decorate his house for the delight and entertainment of the community at Christmas time, while collecting for the Toys for Tots program to give children in need happiness at Christmas time.

We do not believe you will find another candidate that is as hardworking, honest and passionate about the Cedar Grove Community and its future.  Robbie Vargo is a wonderful father to his three sons. He is involved in their activities and is teaching them to be involved in the community.  His wife Chelsea is the Owner/Director of Love Laugh Learn Child Care in Cedar Grove, which Robbie and Chelsea opened up two years ago. They share a passion for making Cedar Grove a beautiful and great place to live.

Join us on May 9th in voting for Robbie Vargo for Town Council.
