Local Students Earn Honor Roll at St. Peter's Prep

JERSEY CITY, NJ - James C. DeAngelo, ’85, Principal of Saint Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, has announced that the following local residents earned honor roll status for the first marking period of 2017-2018:

Cedar Grove:  Liam Brown, '19 and Sean Rendeiro, '21 earned First Honors.  Daniel Brown, '18, Matthew Marini, '18, Ashon Stewart, '18, David Garrelick, '19, and Matthew Lee, '19 earned Second Honors.

Verona:  Matthew Dillane,'18, Gavin Freeman, '18, and Dario Spina, '18 earned First Honors.  Patrick Haughney, '19, Colby Ruggiero, '19, Daniel Stusnick,'19, and Zachary Bucher, '21 earned Second Honors.  Honorable Mention was attained by Owen Dougherty, '20 and Brandon Negron, '20.

First Honors is awarded to students with an average of A or higher (4.0) and no grade lower than a C.  Second Honors is awarded to students with an average at or above the midpoint between A and B+ (3.7) and no grade lower than a C.  Honorable Mention is awarded to students with an average of B+ or higher (3.5) and no grade lower than a C.
