Matching Grants Campaign to Enhance Services for Older Adults

MONTCLAIR, NJ - A matching grants fundraising campaign has been launched in an effort to expand access to lifelong learning for older adults in Montclair through a Back to School Again campaign.  The goals of this fundraising effort are to meet the growing demand for classes and to keep them FREE and accessible for all. 

The initiative is being brought about by the collective efforts of the Montclair Institute for Lifelong Learning (MILL), which is part of the Lifelong Montclair aging in place initiative. This collaborative effort includes  four partner organizations including the Montclair Public Library and its Adult School of Montclair Department, Montclair Art Museum, Montclair Historical Society and Montclair State University. 

The goal of the MILL is to foster opportunities for in-depth, high-level learning and socialization for Montclair’s 55+ adults through free classes offered over six weeks.  Partners for Health Foundation provides funding for the MILL.

Donors may designate their gifts to one of three program areas, including the Arts, Health & Wellness, and History & Current Events, in addition to “wherever it’s needed most.”  Even better, each donation will be matched $1 for $1 by Partners for Health, doubling its impact.

BAYONNE, NJ – The case of a near lifetime supply of toothpaste that was taken from a Bayonne pharmacy has been solved.
