CEDAR GROVE, NJ – Four young singers from Cedar Grove graced the legendary stage at Carnegie Hall in June as part of the Middle School Honors Performance series at Carnegie Hall.

Through the program, Sofia Cordaro, Ian Wilson, Lillyanna Ricco and Mia Green were given the opportunity not only to perform at Carnegie Hall but also to live in New York City for four days and experience all that the city has to offer.

All four singers were nominated by their Memorial Middle School choir teacher Megan Backing.  As part of the selection process, the singers were required to submit a recorded audition.  Several hundred submissions were received and 200 students from the US and Canada were selected.
