CEDAR GROVE, NJ - Once again Cedar Grove's young entrepreneurs packed the CGHS gym at the annual TREP$ marketplace on Sunday.
The marketplace featured more than 80 businesses with products ranging from lip balm, bath bombs, coasters, candles, jewelry, and other homemade creations, games of chance and skill with prizes to win, and a variety of food stands including tacos, french fries, nutella waffles, fudge, candy, soft pretzels, cookies, smoothies and shakes.
The TREP$ Program teaches kids how to start their own businesses through weekly workshops. The young business owners then take the skills they've learned and apply them at home as they build their business with the help of their families.
This is the seventh annual TREP$ Marketplace for Memorial Middle School.
