Montclair Police in Search of Armed Suspects, Reports Say

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Montclair Police are currently in search of two armed suspects in the area of Pleasant Avenue and Cedar Avenue. It is believed that the suspects are armed, according to the BNN. The BNN is also reporting that police may be calling for area schools to be on lockdown.

It is being reported that the West Orange Police pursued the two black male suspects after they bailed out of their vehicle and ran into backyards. One was believed to have shown a handgun, according to BNN alerts.

One male is described as wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. One suspect is believed to have last been seen on Orange Rd.

Essex County K-9 Units have been called to assist in search efforts.

Montclair Police could not be reached for comment during this time of publication. This information is preliminary and has not been confirmed by any law enforcement sources.

BAYONNE, NJ – The case of a near lifetime supply of toothpaste that was taken from a Bayonne pharmacy has been solved.
