MONTCLAIR, NJ - Montclair police officers were dispatched to a hit and run motor vehicle collision on January 24 at 6:16 p.m. where a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of Glenridge Ave and Pine Street. The pedestrian, a 45-year-old woman from Montclair, was struck by a motor vehicle while walking west on Glenridge Avenue.
The motor vehicle was traveling west on Glenridge Avenue and struck the woman while attempting to make a left turn onto Pine Street. The motor vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival and was last observed traveling south on Pine Street from the intersection of Glenridge Avenue. The vehicle is described as a white sedan; unknown make and model at this time.
The victim was transported to University Hospital, Newark via ambulance and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Her condition is listed as “stable.”
