MONTCLAIR, NJ - A 46-year-old Montclair woman was repeatedly stabbed with a knife in a domestic dispute on Monday morning.
At approximately 11:08 a.m., the Breaking News Network reported that a bleeding victim walked into an Essex County hospital stating that she had been stabbed in Montclair.
Lt. David O'Dowd of the Montclair Police Department responded stating, "Montclair Police responded to a residence in town on a reported stabbing incident."
He added that the victim had been stabbed by a 40-year-old Montclair man in a domestic violence incident. Police arrested the man and charged him with attempted murder and weapons offenses.
The victim is stable at this time. This incident is under investigation. No further information can be released at this time.
