CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Ground was broken earlier this month on the Panther Park Multipurpose Field.
The project sits on the back property of Leonard R. Parks School off of Pompton Avenue and adjacent to Panther Park. The project is a joint venture between the township of Cedar Grove and the Cedar Grove Board of Education.
“Work on this site is moving rapidly, and we look forward to the development of this land for the use of all community members in 2021,” the Cedar Grove Board of Education said in a statement.
The infield on the softball field at Panther Park had been completely replaced in 2019.
