TRENTON, NJ – The Eisenhower Exxon located at 550 Eagle Rock Avenue in Roseland became one of the New Jersey Lottery’s “lucky locations” last week when it sold a third-tier prizewinning ticket worth $5000.

Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director, announced that there were six third-tier prizewinning tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”

The winning numbers for the Friday, Aug. 4 drawing were: 09, 17, 25, 63 and 71. The Gold Mega Ball was 04, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

According to Hedinger, if those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option, the prize would have been multiplied to $25,000.

The other five third-tier prizewinning tickets were sold in Camden County at West Berlin’s OM Khodiyar LLC; Gloucester County at Fair Deal Food Mart, 206 W. Broad St., Gibbstown; Ocean County at Country Farm in Whiting; Passaic County at Union Food Stores in Totowa; and Somerset County at 7-Eleven in Green Brook.

In addition, 67 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Three of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $2,500. Moreover, 213,127 other New Jersey players took home $408,174 in prizes ranging from $1 to $250, according to Hedinger.

The jackpot rolls to $346 million for the Tuesday drawing, making it the seventh-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history.

The next drawing will be held Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 11 p.m. All New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions tickets must be purchased before 10:45 p.m. to participate in the drawing.

Mega Millions tickets cost $1.00; by adding the Megaplier option for an extra dollar per play, players can increase their non-jackpot winnings up to five times. Powerball and Mega Millions drawings can be seen on WABC-TV stations.

Mega Millions tickets are sold in 46 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
