The Montclair Farmers’ Market is proud to have spearheaded the locally-sourced, fresh food movement a quarter-century ago. Dan Lipow of the Foraged Feast (the "mushroom guy") will be able to share a story or two about how he sources locally. Lipow shared in the enthusiasm for the opening day"The Foraged Feast is looking forward to another great season! We're hoping to see all our friends back at the stand. We'll have lots of great mushrooms and seasonal greens available every week"

The Montclair Farmers' Market is more than just a place to purchase local food, the market has become a community space where friends gathers, organizations tell their stories, and guest chefs sample their work. One of the favorite spots for samples is in the north end of the market where patrons will find favorite food artisans.  "Pierogi, kielbasa, stuffed cabbage...oh my!" said Mario Bochna of Stefan's Pure Blends. "We are excited for yet another season with one of our favorite markets, here's to a prosperous market season!"

The 2017 summer season will be the third season in which SNAP, WIC, and Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program participants are offered double the value of their coupons, thanks to a generous grant from Partners for Health.

The summer Montclair Farmers' Market runs every Saturday from the first Saturday in June through Thanksgiving from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The smaller winter market runs the rest of the year.
