Six Arrested in Bloomfield Massage Parlor Prostitution Sting


BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield, NJ- Six women face prostitution-related charges following an undercover police investigation into several massage parlors located within in the Township of Bloomfield.

Social media websites specifically Facebook and were used to advertise services at the following locations: Health Spa at 599 Bloomfield Avenue, Bloomfield Therapy at 669 Bloomfield Avenue,  Top Health Spa at 28 Washington Street and 34 Cross Street (No Business Name used). The women face charges of solicitation of prostitution, operating without a license and misrepresenting themselves as licensed massage therapists.

The suspects are identified as Enji Piao age 53 of New York, Xianji Li age 53 of New York, Chong Lee age 68 of Lodi, Hayeon Kim age 58 of New York, Athena Reid-Azam age 44 of Montclair, Meisha Jin age 51 of Little Ferry. Each were issued summons and released with pending court dates.

"This type of activity will not be overlooked, tolerated or condoned within our local communities where we live and raise our children." said Police Director Samuel DeMaio. “This activity will not be allowed to take place and diminish the quality of life for our residents.
