WEST ORANGE, NJ - Mia Faieta threw a perfect game and led the Cedar Grove Panthers to a 20-0 win over West Orange on the road Saturday.  

Faieta threw five innings, striking out 14 and allowing zero runs, zero hits and zero walks.  

The Panthers took charge early in the first inning. When Ava Fernandez  drove in four runs, ultimately going 3-for-5 with two singles and a double.

Cedar Grove continued to attack with runs driven in on a triple by Julianna Cicala and a single by Kali McCabe.

All in all, the Panthers had 17 hits, with Fernandez, Cicala, McCabe, Rianna Marinelli, Samantha Brancato,and Daniella Cordasco each contributing multiple hits.

The Panthers will travel to Mt. St. Dominic on Monday 4 p.m.
