CEDAR GROVE, NJ – It will be students versus the teachers in a sports duel at Memorial Middle School on Monday at 3:15 p.m.  The seventh and eighth graders will take on the MMS faculty in both volleyball and basketball in the annual Student/Faculty Challenge.

Teacher Mike Moussab (aka Mr. Moose) will serve as referee.  Twenty-five members of the MMS faculty have signed up to play basketball, volleyball or serve as cheerleaders.  Featured players for the faculty include, Principal Nick DeCorte, Vice Principal Derrick Chell and MMS teacher and high school varsity volleyball coach Alicia Angione. 

Students can buy tickets for the event during lunch period on Thursday and Friday at a cost of $5.  The public is welcome and tickets can also be purchased at the door on Monday for $8.  A concession stand will be open to buy refreshments. 

All funds raised will benefit the Memorial Middle School Family School Association.
