VERONA, NJ - The youth at the First Presbyterian Church of Verona completed yet another successful “Souper Bowl” on Super Bowl Sunday, collecting 81 cans of soup which will go to the Human Needs Food Pantry and raising more than $360 for the Interfaith Hospitality Network.

The Souper Bowl of Caring is a national youth movement working to fight hunger and poverty in their own local communities around the time of the Super Bowl.  The organization has been around since 1990 and The First Presbyterian Church of Verona has been actively participating for the past 10 years.  A simple dollar and a can of soup can make a huge impact in the community.
