Summer Concert Series Continues in Little Falls with Epic Soul


LITTLE FALLS, NJ - The Little Falls Alliance for a Better Community's summer concert series continues on Thursday, July 13 at Wilmore Park on Main Street and First Avenue with Epic Soul.

Epic Soul is a New Jersey based soul, funk, R&B, and pop band. They play all the great classic soul songs you remember plus today’s current top R&B and pop hits.

In addition to the concert, the Farmers Marketplace & More! will run from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The alliance, a non-profit  501(c)3, encourages cultural, revitalization, educational and the beautification development of Little Falls. Its object is to preserve and enhance the business districts, parks, recreational areas, cultural areas and to help bring the residents and the business community into one cohesive unit.

Upcoming concerts in the series are:

July 20: Glenn Roberts, featuring cranked up country rock from today's hottest artists

July 27: No Discipline, featuring a wide selection of reggae and Caribbean artists such as Bob Marley

Aug. 3: Souled Out, featuring non-stop medleys, soaring harmonies and all the hits you love

Aug. 10: Fast Forward, featuring fabulous 80s plus everyone's favorite kitschy, one-hit wonders

Aug. 17: Four Man Trio, featuring a blend of collector's corner group harmony, 60s garage, Motown, blues and more

Aug. 24: Symphonics, featuring the well-known songs of Motown and much more

Aug. 31: Lip Service, featuring the hottest dance band in the tri-state area

The Farmers Marketplace & More! will be open from 5 to 8:30 p.m. and features produce, corn, pizza, pirogies, breads, sandwiches, ices/ice cream, origami, candies, bakery goods, handbags, jewelry, cosmetics, stained glass, clothing and much more.

Concerts and the marketplace will be held at the gazebo in Memorial Park, located at the corner of Main Street, First Avenue and Wilmore Road. In the event of rain, concerts will be held at the Civic Center on Warren and Center Streets. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair, as well as bug spray.
