On Thursday, February 8, students at the Forest Avenue School spent the day in their pajamas! Second grade teacher Sarah Conklin and Media Specialist Elissa Freda organized the Pajamas for Progeria Day fundraiser which collected $750.31 for Team Zoey and the Progeria Research Foundation. Donations were collected to help fund research for a cure and provide treatment to kids with progeria.

The students enjoyed reading Dr. Seuss books together in their pajamas along with a special visit from the Cat in the Hat, thanks to the NJEA (New Jersey Education Association).
