LITTLE FALLS, NJ  – Within one week, The Fine Grind – A Coffee Bar owners Jon and Rhonda Mallek of Woodland Park celebrated the 12th anniversary of their first shop opening and opened their third – a kiosk in the Garden State Plaza in Paramus.

Located on the upper level across from the Apple Store, the kiosk serves up favorite Fine Grind beverages such as Blendessos® and Fro-Hos®, as well as lattes, iced drinks, gourmet teas and more. It also offers fun grab and go food items, soups, a new grilled cheese menu, and other savory take away items, such as bacon, egg and cheese stuffed biscuits and spuds au gratin. There will be many gluten-free and vegan options as well.

The Fine Grind's story began when its doors first opened on Main Street, across from Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church in June 2005. After a brief stint on Paterson Avenue, the business finally settled in the convenient location on Route 23 south, where it has successfully remained and flourished ever since.

Rhonda, a former events planner, and her husband Jon, a former musician turned computer tech manager, both had a love for coffee and wanted to bring back some old fashioned charm and hospitality missing from so many establishments today.

The Malleks have worked to grow their brand by offering quality coffee, specialty drinks and eclectic dishes, and providing a venue for artists and community support. The couple opened their second location in Wayne earlier this year at 239 Berdan Avenue.

Some fun facts about The Fine Grind at Garden State Plaza:

  • Most items will be eco-packaged to have minimal impact on the environment
  • There will be many new items that are not currently available at the flagship Little Falls or new Wayne location, such as enticing bottled beverages, mini quiches and other grab and go food items to make shopping on the go easy.
  • The Fine Grind has its own seating area so you can come and take a load off in between retail therapy and getting your errands done.

The Fine Grind locations in Little Falls and Wayne offers many weekly events, including live music, a weekly Open Mic at each location, free seminars, book signings and more.
