FAIRFIELD, NJ - Two young girls from Fairfield, Milana Sapienza and Addison Raniero, held a Lucky Lemonade Stand to help raise money for a charity they have created called the "When Life Gives You Lemons Scholarship Fund."
All the money raised for the scholarship fund will be awarded to a graduating senior at both Belleville and Bloomfield High School.
According to their parents, the girls will be holding a lemonade stand each summer leading up to their graduating year. In 2030, the girls will divide the money between their parents' alma maters, Belleville and Bloomfield.
The families have also created a Lucky Lemonade Stand GoFundMe page to help support the scholarship fund.
The young girls' mothers, Dena Sapienza and Amanda Raniero, said that the reason behind the scholarship fund is that they wanted to instill in their children the importance of giving back. They added that the lemonade stand was Addison and Milana's idea, and the marriage of both of these ideas is what led to the When Life Gives You Lemons Scholarship Fund.
