VERONA, NJ - No bed bugs were found at Laning Avenue School, according to a letter from school principal Howard Freund.  The district alerted parents on Friday that the school would undergo a thorough inspection after bed bugs were found at Verona High School on Wednesday.

According to the letter, "Verona Public Schools utilized the services of a specialized trained dog through a licensed, professional pest management company to conduct an inspection of Laning Avenue School.  We have received the results of the inspection and are happy to report that the pest management company found no bed bugs in any area of the building."
