VERONA, NJ - Verona's 2nd Annual Green Fair was held on Sunday at the Verona Civic Center.  

More than 65 different vendors and organizations participated in the fair with a large variety of goods to offer.  The fair included live music, four different food trucks and a large climbing tower sponsored by Investors Bank.

In addition to the fair, the Verona High School Student Council hosted a Town Wide Garage Sale, VMAC and the Verona Police Dept. collected unused or expired medications, the Verona Library  had a large Book Sale and Verona Public Works had an area for E-Waste drop off.

On May 4, 2018 at 2:58 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for not having an inspection decal and an obstructed windshield. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 28 year old male operator from Paterson for driving with a suspended license and having a suspended registration. His vehicle was impounded and he was released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
