VERONA, NJ - A home on Summit Rd. in Verona was burglarized on Dec. 13, according to police reports.

Off. Michael Barone responded to the residence on a report of a forced burglary to a house. Upon arrival Barone spoke to a neighbor who said that when he went to check on his neighbor’s house he discovered that the garage door was open and the rear door to the house was forced open.

Further investigation revealed that several drawers in the house had been opened and ransacked. In addition a Mercedes Benz was missing from the property.  The missing car was entered into the National Crime Information Center computer data base as stole and the scene was turned over to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.
