MONTCLAIR, NJ - While traveling east on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, a motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a vehicle on Sunday morning.
Montclair police are investigating the cause of the accident, according to Lt. David O'Dowd of the Montclair Police Department.
At approximately 10:49 a.m., a 42-year-old male motorcyclist from Verona was traveling east on Bloomfield Avenue when a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old male from Newark made a left turn onto South Park Street, O'Dowd clarified.
He added, "The motorcycle and the car collided in the intersection."
After complaining of injury to the knee and hand, the motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital.
