VERONA, NJ - The Verona Police Department collected 104 pounds of used/unwanted medication at the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on April 30.  This initiative was organized to encourage citizens to properly dispose of their unused, unwanted and expired medicine.

This statewide effort, with many New Jersey Police Departments participating, is being spearheaded by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).  Residents looking for more information on the program should visit www.dea.gov.
