West Essex PBA to Host 2017 Beefsteak And Comedy Night Fundraiser


PATERSON, NJ — The West Essex PBA local #81, representing the police departments of Caldwell, Cedar Grove, Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell, Roseland, and West Caldwell, will host its annual Beefsteak And Comedy Night Fundraiser on Sept. 29 at the Brownstone in Paterson.

The event, which features comedians Mark Demayo and KC Arora, DJ Tony Gia, a Tricky Tray, door prizes and a Super 50/50 Drawing, will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at $55 per ticket.

According to Caldwell officer Matthew DeAngelo, the organization—which helps support the parks and recreation departments, local youth leagues and sport team sponsorships, boys and girls clubs, college scholarships, Special Olympics, families experiencing life changing/catastrophic events, homeless shelters, food pantries, coat drives, toy drives and much more for the seven municipalities it serves— expects more than 400 people to attend this year’s event.

Since the non-profit organization takes pride in giving back to the community, the West Essex PBA encourages local businesses and other community members to provide donations/sponsorships so that it may continue to do so.

All donors will be thanked in the event programs as well as on all of the PBA’s social media pages. Signage may also be placed by the donation basket, event tables, and advertisement banners depending on the donated amount.

Monetary donations to help defray the cost of the comedians and other expenses are also appreciated

Bronze Level - $50 Donation

Silver Level - $100 Donation

Gold Level - $250 Donation (1 Complimentary Ticket)

Platinum Level - $500 Donation (3 Complimentary Tickets)

Diamond Level - $1000 Donation (5 Complimentary Tickets)
