CEDAR GROVE, NJ – TAPinto Verona/Cedar Grove announced that it will be the official media sponsor for Memorial Middle School's 8th Annual TREP$ Marketplace, which will be held March 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. in at Cedar Grove High School.
On that day, the Cedar Grove High School gym will be transformed into a vibrant market where more than 100 middle school students will sell their wares.
TREP$, short for entrepreneurs, is an education program that teaches about entrepreneurship. Through a series of after school workshops the students learn how to operate their own business. The program covers topics like product development, marketing, sales, customer service and handling money. The marketplace is the culmination of the program.
TAPinto Verona/Cedar Grove will provide advertising for the event and publish press releases leading up to the tournament, as well as assist in social media marketing.
"TREP$ is a wonderful program and the marketplace is always a fantastic event for our community," said TAPinto Verona/Cedar Grove Editor Jeanne Moreno. "As a locally-owned business in town, we are excited to sponsor an event that rewards hard work and encourages the entrepreneurial spirit in our younger generation."
