CEDAR GROVE, NJ - Cedar Grove will kick off the holiday season with its annual tree lighting on Friday in front of town hall. This year marks the 53nd anniversary of this holiday tradition and Santa Claus will be on hand to greet the kids.

The event will feature crafts for kids, live wooden soldiers, and holiday tattoos.  The Cedar Grove High School choir will sing everybody's favorite holiday carols.  Refreshments will include fresh popcorn, munchkins, zeppoles and hot chocolate.

Attendees can also participate in a contest by guessing how many candies are in a jug.  The closest guess will get to keep the jug.
