The 377% increase in readership is directly attributed to the news site’s COVID-19 coverage, as we continue to coordinate daily news reporting of how the virus is affecting our Verona and Cedar Grove communities.
In February, TAPinto Verona/Cedar Grove had 14,120 individual users who visited the site. The number of readers spiked to 53,291 in March, making the news site one of the most read among the entire TAPinto news network of more than 80 hyperlocal sites in three states.
Moreover, TAPinto Verona/Cedar Grove also shattered its own record for page views. In February, the news site had 31,357 page views. In March, that number jumped to 148,349, a 473% increase.
