VERONA, NJ — The Verona High School graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020 finally took place last Wednesday, July 8.

The school had previously held a virtual ceremony, but once larger crowds were allowed outdoors via Gov. Phil Murphy’s directives, Verona went ahead with its plan to bring its graduates together.

According to a Survey Monkey survey sent to graduating seniors, of the 90 that responded, almost 60 percent were open to having a second ceremony in case the state’s restrictions were lifted.
