VERONA, NJ - Verona Township Manager Matthew Cavallo announced on Saturday that the number of positive COVID-19 cases in Verona has increased to nine.

Cavallo's email stated:

Good evening.  As of this evening, there are now 9 residents of Verona who have tested positive with COVID-19.  These numbers do not surprise us and we expect these numbers to rise due to the increased number of symptomatic patients being tested.  Please continue social distancing yourselves and STAYING HOME.  Together we will get through this.
